This training is about custom fields, i.e., database fields that can be created by the user to implement user-defined calculations in Empower or to create space for additional inputs. The training uses real-world examples to illustrate how to set up Custom Fields The approaches presented are chosen to cover the most common use cases. Participants gain a solid understanding of the methodology and are thus enabled to use custom fields to map their own requirements in a meaningful way.
Step by step, requirements are described as they might arise from test specifications in the analytical laboratory. The trainers explain the concrete implementation using Empower Custom Fields and define the prerequisites for correct functioning.
Prerequisite: Deep understanding of Empower 3 functionality and fields.
