Using Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) to assess the functional significance of a gene edit is a key step in any successful genome editing workflow – particularly since the rise of the revolutionary CRISPR-Cas9 technology. Zifo’s bioinformatics services can provide analysis support for any downstream requirements following genome editing experiments. We can provide support screening cell populations to assess the functional impact of a mutation on the transcriptome (e.g. RNA-seq, scRNA-seq), or epigenome (e.g. ChIP-seq, Methylation sequencing) using NGS or array-based platforms. Alongside this, NGS-based analysis support to confirm genome edits at a targeted or genome-wide level ( e.g. WGS) and support to optimize sgRNA design to help accelerate any genome editing experiment.
